Chris Felton
Account Executive & VP of Business Development
Chris graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Law and Government. He law clerked in Ann Arbor, Michigan during college and had a brief career in law enforcement from 1991-1995. He later was employed, first as manager, and then as vice president of sales and marketing at A.S.K. Services, Inc. – a Michigan based public record research company. During that period from 1995-2005, Chris lectured on public records research at the University of Michigan and served as board member and treasurer of both the National Public Record Research Association and the Michigan Council of Professional Investigators.
After a decade establishing an excellent reputation and network of contacts in lending and real estate, Chris began consulting directly for his title insurance clients. He ultimately accepted a position at a new agency formed by his former clients at First American Title, and serves today as Vice President of New Business Development at Vanguard Title.
Chris grew up in Plymouth, Michigan and now resides in Westland with his wife Christine and their twin boys John and Greyson. Chris owns investment properties throughout Wayne and Oakland Counties. Chris does not play golf, but he is a commercially rated airplane, seaplane and glider pilot, and holds a Lead Formation FAST card and flies with his team out of Detroit City Airport (KDET). He also serves as an officer in the United States Air Force Auxiliary, flying out of his home base at Plymouth Mettetal Airport (1D2).
Please give him a call to discuss all things title, real estate and aviation!
