After a decade establishing an excellent reputation and network of contacts in lending and real estate, Chris began consulting directly for his title insurance clients. He ultimately accepted a position at a new agency formed by his former clients at First American Title, and serves today as Vice President of New Business Development at Vanguard Title.
Chris grew up in Plymouth, Michigan and now resides in Westland with his wife Christine and their twin boys John and Greyson. Chris owns investment properties throughout Wayne and Oakland Counties. Chris does not play golf, but he is a commercially rated airplane, seaplane and glider pilot, and holds a Lead Formation FAST card and flies with his team out of Detroit City Airport (KDET). He also serves as an officer in the United States Air Force Auxiliary, flying out of his home base at Plymouth Mettetal Airport (1D2).

Michael Coll joins Vanguard with 39 years of successful experience in driving business growth, cultivating client relationships, and achieving exceptional results. His unique blend of leadership skills, strategic thinking, and dedication to excellence make Coll an asset to Vanguard Title Company as it continues to expand its presence in Michigan.
Coll served 7 and ½ years in the United States Marines, where he earned a certificate of accommodation for exhibiting exemplary service. This background instilled in Michael a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and integrity, which he now brings to Vanguard as his professional journey continues in the private sector.

Paul is a graduate of Wayne State University. With three years of Title experience and many years in the sales business, Paul’s main goal is to treat his clients like he would like to be treated.
He does so with respect and believes that the word “no” should be last in the vocabulary when in sales there are always alternatives. Paul is a father of four, with three adult young ladies, a teenage little buddy, and of course his dog Leo. Although Paul came to this country young, he still speaks his native tongue fluently, making him bilingual (Albanian). Paul is dedicated to his work and is available to his clients seven days a week, don’t be surprised if he answers your emails at four in the morning. Vanguard Title is proud to have someone as motivated and goal-oriented as Paul on our team.
Alma joined the Vanguard Title Insurance Agency team in 2006 – bringing her high level of knowledge, vast experience and energetic enthusiasm with her. Alma prides herself on exceptional customer service. She goes above and beyond to ensure her clients have a great experience from beginning to end and are kept informed throughout the process.
A true dedicated professional, Alma possesses the skills, knowledge and talent needed to meet the ever-changing challenges of the title insurance industry.
Krystal has made it a mission to educate herself in every area of title to provide a streamline process. Building great relationships is the foundation of trust knowing she will be there for you! Her priority is to provide ease for each and every client from beginning to end!
Alisha joined the Vanguard team bringing years of experience in title. She began her career in the title industry in 2003 as a receptionist, eventually working her way into pre-processing and statusing title files. She then moved into processing purchase and closing transactions with roles as both a processor and closer.
She has a passion for the industry but loves being able to interact with customers outside of the office. She found her love for sales and began establishing a credible clientele by building friendships and relationships with others in the industry. She now have over 6 years of experiences in sales.
Wendy brings over 30 years of title and settlement experience to Vanguard Title! She has a passion for helping her clients, they trust and depend on her to bring solutions for a seamless transaction.
Wendy enjoys providing extraordinary customer service and excels at building connections with agents, lenders, builders, attorneys and the clients they serve. She prides herself on getting to closing as a top priority so her clients have peace of mind all the way through. Wendy continues to provide her services in Macomb County and the surrounding areas.
Since starting as a receptionist, she moved on to processing and closing in escrow before her current management position, gaining valuable knowledge in sales and service along the way. She believes this “bottom up” career path has reinforced her priority to consistently deliver the best customer service possible to all of Vanguard’s clients through all phases of the closing process.
Diana is married with three children and has lived in Sterling Heights for 30 years.

He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Law School, with a concentration in real estate law.
Before working at Vanguard Title, Apostol joined North American Title and founding partners, Richard Parsons and Michael Strat in 1988 as Chief Operations Officer. When North American Title merged with First American Title in 2000, Apostol became the Southeast Michigan Division’s COO and General Counsel.
At First American, Apostol helped forge a new, vibrant business atmosphere that returned focus to the needs of existing and new clients that migrated to First American.
In 2005, Apostol and the North American Title founding partners, Rick Parsons and Mike Strat, along with First American Title colleague Robert Considine united to establish Vanguard Title.
Prior to the establishment of Vanguard Title, Strat co-founded North American Title with Richard Parsons in 1987 and was joined one year later by John Apostol. The three-man operation rapidly grew to a 100-employee enterprise in less than five years through the success of newly developed and more efficient title processing systems.
In 2000, North American Title merged with First American, and Strat became the new entity’s President of the Southeast Michigan Division. During his first four years at First American, he oversaw the team responsible for overhauling First American’s systems, processes and customer service. Additionally, he aided in increasing the company’s volume from 2,000 orders per month to more than 10,000.
In 2005, Strat and the North American Title founding partners, Rick Parsons and John Apostol, along with First American Title colleague Robert Considine united to establish Vanguard Title.
Before co-founding North American Title with Michael Strat in 1987, Parsons built his expertise from a small local title insurance agency. Later joined by John Apostol, the three were determined to streamline procedures in the title process to serve their clientele more efficiently.
For the next decade, North American Title navigated through the hectic business cycle of interest-rate driven refinance booms while growing an impressive customer base that appreciated their responsive, proactive approach to customer service.
In 2000, North American Title merged with First American Title, and Parsons became the new entity’s Vice President and Southeast Michigan Division Co-Manager. This new management team succeeded in driving new systems-based efficiency – increasing productivity from 24 orders per person per month to 66 orders per person per month.
In 2005, along with original business partners Mike Strat and John Apostol, in addition to colleague Robert Considine, Parsons helped establish Vanguard Title.
Considine holds a Master of Arts degree in Industrial Relations from Wayne State University, a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, and a certification in Senior Professional Human Resources.
Prior to joining the Vanguard Title team, Considine worked at North American Title as the firm’s Human Resources Manager. In this position, he helped transition this one-time small partnership into a robust title organization with nearly 100 employees in less than two years.
From 2000 to 2004, Considine worked with the team responsible for overhauling First American’s systems, processes and customer service expectations. In 2005, he joined forces with former First American colleagues and North American founders Mike Strat, Rick Parsons, and John Apostol to establish Vanguard Title.
Amanda prides herself on exceptional customer service and strives to provide the best experience for her clients with each and every transaction.
Janet is currently the Commercial Division Escrow Officer.
Day to day, her goal is to assist the Vanguard Title Builder/Developer and Commercial Clients to resolve title problems; work with attorneys, draft documents, confirm the numbers and smooth the way to successful closings.
Janet has been with Vanguard since 2018, bringing years of Commercial Real Estate experience with her to Title. Working in the past as a Property Asset Management Analyst, Commercial Loan Officer and as entrepreneur owning her own loan closing business, gives Janet a unique insight into the specifics of Commercial transactions. In short, she understands both the business and title aspects at play.
Janet attended the University of Michigan and holds both a B.A. and an MBA. She enjoys travel and visiting family scattered across the US and Argentina.
